Behavioral Therapist for Special Needs Support

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to join our team at a Facility in Rosenberg, TX. This role offers a competitive salary of $22 - $25 per hour for 8am-4pm shifts.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with behavioral and developmental disorders. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will work closely with our clients to develop and implement personalized behavior intervention plans, promoting their growth and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to design and implement effective behavior intervention strategies.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to help clients acquire and improve essential skills, such as communication, social interaction, and daily living activities.
  • Collect and maintain accurate data on client progress, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes.
  • Implement evidence-based behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors and promote positive outcomes.
  • Support clients in community integration and participation in recreational and educational activities, fostering their independence and confidence.
  • Work closely with families and caregivers to provide training and support in implementing behavior intervention strategies at home.
  • Attend regular team meetings and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) is preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with behavioral and developmental disorders is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for successful collaboration with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and adapt to changing circumstances is crucial.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help individuals with special needs are essential qualities for this role.
