Job Title: Behavioral Therapist

Location: Rosenberg, TX

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Therapist to join our team at Health Advocates Network in Rosenberg, TX. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with individuals with behavioral and developmental disorders, providing support and implementing behavior intervention plans.

About the Role:

• You will collaborate with the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to develop and implement behavior intervention plans for our clients.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to individuals with behavioral and developmental disorders.
• Collect data on client progress and behavior, and maintain accurate records.
• Implement behavior management techniques and strategies to address challenging behaviors.
• Assist clients in acquiring and improving skills in various areas, such as communication, social interaction, and daily living activities.
• Support clients in community integration and participation in recreational and educational activities.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide training and support in implementing behavior intervention strategies at home.
• Attend regular team meetings and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
• Experience working with individuals with behavioral and developmental disorders is preferred.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Patient, empathetic, and genuinely interested in helping individuals with special needs.

Salary Information: $22-$25 per hour.
