Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
  • Assist individuals with activities of daily living, such as cooking, personal hygiene, and dressing.
  • Administer and manage medication, following Individual Support Plans (ISPs).
  • Transport individuals to appointments when needed and complete shift notes.
  • Ensure the home is welcoming, comfortable, and safe.
  • Work closely with parents and/or guardians to collaborate on how to best support each individual.
  • Support individuals to access the community by participating in group activities, taking trips to events, and volunteering.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One year experience in developmental disabilities/behavioral health area preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving status.
  • Use of a reliable vehicle, which seats two passengers.
