Job SummaryThe Senior Provider Enrollment & Credentialing Coordinator plays a critical role in the Central Payer Credentialing and Enrollment Services unit located in Fort Lee, New Jersey. This position performs analytical provider enrollment and credentialing functions with payers, vendors, and practices.
Responsibilities- Payer Enrollment and Credentialing: Prepares, submits, and tracks payer enrollment and credentialing material submissions, identifying variances, issues, and delays, and addressing them in a timely manner.
- Ongoing Outreach and Follow-up: Performs ongoing outreach and follow-up with providers, payers, and vendors to ensure that contractual obligations are met, escalating when deficiencies are identified.
- Audits and Quality Assurance: Audits materials returned by providers, payers, and vendors for accuracy and completeness, addressing variances in a standardized way according to well-defined standard operating procedures.
- Status Updates: Prepares and distributes status updates to stakeholders for accurate and timely updating of internal and external platforms.
- Special Projects: Serves as a key contributor to special credentialing, enrollment, and operational projects, including large-scale initiatives and centralization of additional services and functions.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, with a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
- Advanced Skills: Demonstrates advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy, as well as effective communication skills both verbally and written.
- Credentialing Knowledge: Specialized knowledge of managed care Credentialing/Enrollment is required, along with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g. vlookup, pivot tables, etc.).
$75,000 - $80,000 per year, based on location and industry standards.
