SAP Business Analyst Job Description

At Compunnel, we are seeking a highly skilled SAP Business Analyst to join our team. As a key liaison between business units and development teams, this role is crucial for bridging requirements and solutions, assessing customer satisfaction, and ensuring that business expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaison and Communication: Act as a liaison between business units and development teams to bridge requirements and solutions. Collaborate with the project EBS Capability Lead and project team members, providing updates and seeking approvals on work.
  • Requirements Development: Develop complex requirements for process or system solutions within the business domain. Leverage multiple business requirements and gathering methodologies to identify business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
  • Analytical Approach: Maintain expert product knowledge and use an analytical approach to identify opportunities for enhancements. Provide guidance and analysis on system upgrades and technical improvements, coordinating with development and technical teams.
  • Project Coordination: Develop and execute plans to ensure efficient delivery of results that meet business expectations. Coordinate collaboration among business users, Lead Super Users, Support teams, and Project teams.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with 3rd party vendors and teams to ensure seamless integration and support.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience: A minimum of 8 years in the SAP Business Systems Analyst role, particularly within a large ERP systems footprint in a global, multinational environment. Proven ability to understand business needs, build strategic partnerships, and document and implement software solutions.
  • Technical Skills: Strong expertise in Power BI, including creating interactive reports, dashboards, and visualizations. Knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) is a plus. Experience with IDOCs and Integrations.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain critical thinking while balancing multiple tasks. Ability to work well within a team, focusing on building relationships with all project stakeholders. Proven ability to learn new skills and technologies, with a passion for conveying knowledge.
