Our Industrial Coating Systems (ICS) division specializes in designing equipment that our global clientele depends on for the precise application and curing of various coatings, including liquid paint, powder finishes, and adhesives.
Position OverviewThe Electrical Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the Sustaining Engineering Team. This includes evaluating and selecting electrical components, capturing schematics, designing printed circuit boards, and overseeing the release of custom products.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage small-scale projects focused on product design, enhancements, and supply chain initiatives.
- Oversee product maintenance and engineering modifications to improve quality, manufacturing processes, and design.
- Collaborate with team members to develop components or subsystems for both new and existing products.
- Conduct necessary calculations and analyses for electronic designs at various levels, including component and circuit board.
- Work in a laboratory setting to support the build and testing of designs for performance verification, including data compilation and presentation.
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits and systems down to the component level.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
Experience: 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience or internship/co-op experience.
Skills and Abilities- Proficient with industrial electrical components and electronics.
- Ability to apply sound electrical engineering principles in design and verification.
- Experience with electronic circuit schematic capture, circuit simulation (Spice), and PCB layout software; familiarity with Altium is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Self-motivated with a desire for professional growth and contribution.
- Excellent organizational, communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of product compliance, certifications, and regulations (REACH, RoHS, WEEE) is preferred.
- Experience with SAP or an ERP system is advantageous.

Travel RequirementsEstimated travel is less than 10%, both domestic and international.
