Job Title: Event Parking Coordinator

Job Summary: The Event Parking Coordinator collaborates with the Front of House & Business Manager and Parking Supervisor to serve as a primary customer service representative, facilitating the parking operations associated with events. This role is crucial in creating a positive first impression, necessitating both efficiency and a welcoming demeanor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Greet patrons as they arrive at the parking facility and assist with their parking needs
  • Verify parking reservations and guide customers to the nearest available spaces
  • Provide information regarding customer service or direct patrons to the ticketing area as necessary
  • Collaborate with the event team to foster a positive, enjoyable, and rewarding atmosphere for all staff and guests
  • Help maintain the cleanliness and safety of the parking area, ensuring an orderly environment
  • Report any safety concerns to the Parking Supervisor
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Education, Skill & Work Experience Requirements
  • Prior experience in parking management and customer service is preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Vigilant and aware of surroundings
  • Possess articulate communication skills in personal interactions
Work Environment
  • Predominantly outdoor work environment
  • Ability to work in cold, snowy, or otherwise inclement winter conditions
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends
  • Capability to lift objects weighing up to 20 pounds
  • Flexible schedule required, including evenings, weekends, and potential overtime
  • Majority of time spent on foot

The Polar Express Train Ride offers an immersive production experience on a moving train, delivering rewarding opportunities for our employees. The Front of House team plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service to our guests and supporting the cast and crew on-site.

With a total of 60-75 individuals comprising the cast, crew, and front of house staff present daily, and the potential for over 2,000 guests, our days can be quite busy. In this fast-paced environment, Rail Events Productions is committed to properly supporting and training everyone to excel in their roles.
