School-Based Speech Therapist

We are seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists for full-time roles in a school environment. This position involves working across multiple educational institutions, providing essential speech therapy services to students. The ideal candidate will possess recent experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations, excellent communication skills, and a strong background in conducting evaluations. Compensation: $45 per hour

ROLE OF THE SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Delivering speech therapy services in accordance with established guidelines.
  2. Conducting patient screenings to assess the need for intervention.
  3. Evaluating patients to gather necessary data for treatment planning and implementation.
  4. Collaborating with team members to establish patient schedules.
  5. Creating treatment plans that outline specific goals and methods for achieving them.
  6. Coordinating treatment efforts with patients, families, and other professionals.
  7. Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.


QUALIFICATIONS FOR SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTS:

  1. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  2. Successful completion of the National Certification Examination.
  3. At least one year of verified professional experience within the last three years.
  4. Valid state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
