About the Role

Abacus is seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety and Environmental Associate to join our team at our facility in Columbus, IN.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Change Management Process, ensuring seamless implementation and compliance.
  • Provide general support to the HSE team, including:
    • Creating and managing Purchase Orders using Ariba.
    • Supporting the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) purchase program.
    • Completing risk assessments and performing data analysis.
    • Preparing presentations and managing programs.
  • Collaborate with the MOC team to ensure effective project management and closure.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • College degree in Industrial Safety or related field preferred.
  • Intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.

We are looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual with strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and comfort with electronic tools and programs are essential.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
