We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our nationally recognized Cardiology program at Phoenix Children's Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional clinical care to patients with complex cardiac conditions.
Responsibilities- Rounding on the inpatient service and providing continuity of care for the Cardiology service.
- Addressing daily care, documenting in the Electronic Health Record (EHR), and communicating with consultants and families.
- Collaborating with nursing staff to improve processes and ensure safe, timely discharges.
- Participating in the teaching environment and serving as a preceptor/mentor for new team members.
- Communicating efficiently with the ICU for accepting and transferring patients.
- Pediatric/Family Nurse Practitioner (Primary, Acute or Dual Certification) or Physician Assistant licensure.
- Certification in area of educational training.
- BLS/PALS/ACLS.
- Previous inpatient clinical experience, preferably in an environment providing care for patients with congenital heart disease.
