Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Project Engineer to join our team at Weston & Sampson. As a key member of our transportation practice, you will be responsible for leading and managing transportation projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage transportation projects, including roadway design, traffic engineering, and transportation planning
  • Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules
  • Collaborate with project managers, team leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project compliance and quality
  • Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and other documents as required
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Master of Science in Civil or Transportation Engineering a plus
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in MA, NH, or CT (or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months)
  • Proficiency in Autocad Civil 3D and Microstation OpenRoads
  • Experience with HydroCAD or StormCAD a plus
  • Established relationships with CTDOT and CT Municipalities a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and organization and time management skills required
