Job Title: Hygienist

Harbour Dental Care is a private practice that empowers confidence by removing barriers to provide premiere experiences. We are seeking a skilled Hygienist to join our team in our brand new office on 103rd in Jacksonville.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a production-driven Hygienist who is passionate about building their business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, educating patients on good oral hygiene techniques, and performing preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene services.

Responsibilities:
  • Review patient's dental and medical history and document blood pressure
  • Take radiographs for doctor diagnosis and review them for signs of dental diseases
  • Complete a thorough assessment of the patient's teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues, and document any abnormalities or suspected conditions
  • Educate and customize care to meet the patient's oral health status
  • Perform preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene services and procedures
  • Update and maintain dental records
  • Ensure all equipment and instruments are disinfected and sterilized by OSHA standards
  • Maintain patient confidentiality
  • Aid the dentist with procedures and emergencies as needed
  • Provide all care in conjunction with accepted professional dental practices and standards
  • Daily management of office atmosphere
Requirements:
  • Current Dental Hygiene license for Florida
  • Certification to administer local anesthesia
  • Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS, and infection control training as required by law
  • Preferred: 1+ year of experience in Dental Hygiene, Denticon experience, Dexis digital x-ray experience, Sirona 3D CT imaging experience, CEREC Omnicam scanning experience, Zoom in-office whitening experience
