Job Title: Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Lakeside Dental Center. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health in our community.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough dental cleanings, taking radiographs, and providing patient education on oral hygiene and disease prevention. You will work closely with our experienced dentists and hygienists to ensure seamless patient care and maintain a clean and organized treatment area.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth
  • Take radiographs and interpret results
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and disease prevention
  • Work closely with dentists and hygienists to ensure seamless patient care
  • Maintain a clean and organized treatment area
Requirements:
  • Current dental hygienist license in Florida
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening
  • CPR Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene OR equivalent experience of 2 years
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet patient needs
