Applewood Centers is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health services, social services, and education to children, adolescents, and families in Cuyahoga and Lorain counties.

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Group Facilitator to join our Group Therapeutic Services Program. As a member of our multi-disciplinary treatment team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing curriculum and treatment plans for youth referred to the program.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Supervise client activities and ensure the safety and whereabouts of clients.
  • Develop and lead therapeutic groups, providing case management and treatment planning services to meet individual client needs.
  • Implement clinical planning and documentation for youth, as designed by the treatment team and individualized treatment plan (ITP).
  • Develop and plan curriculum for groups, ensuring approval by the supervisor prior to implementation.
  • Assist in crisis intervention, problem resolution, and process discussions with clients.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapeutic service hours delivered.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record, adhering to applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
  • Transport clients to and from the GTS program, as needed, in agency-provided vehicles.
  • Ensure confidentiality and respect the privacy of clients, handling client-related documents in accordance with Agency guidelines.

**Qualifications**

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Valid Ohio LSW, LPC required.
  • Knowledge of mental health assessment, treatment planning, developmental psychopathology, systems and methods in family therapy, group therapy, child psychotherapy, diagnoses, and behavioral therapy.
