About the Role

Cox Communications is seeking a highly skilled Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for creating exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Explain and demonstrate product capabilities to customers
  • Meet or exceed targets for customer experience, sales, and retention
  • Assist with the opening and closing of retail store environments
  • Properly handle cash and credit transactions
  • Engage in workshops, special events, and product demos
  • Support fellow sales agents and contribute to a positive team environment
  • Continuously expand knowledge of current Cox products and competitor offerings through regular training classes
What We Offer

As a Retail Sales Associate at Cox Communications, you can expect a competitive hourly rate of $26.25/hour, plus an annual incentive/commission target of $17,652.00. You will also be eligible for a range of benefits, including health care insurance, retirement planning, and paid time off.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college experience preferred
  • Ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience targets
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively sell products and influence customer decisions
  • Ability to build relationships and adapt to a diverse customer base
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced team environment
  • Computer literacy with an aptitude for learning communication products and services
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
