Job Overview

As a Controls Systems Technician at Johnson Controls International, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance of our building management systems. With a focus on commissioning, troubleshooting, and resolving issues, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality results that meet our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load system-level controller software and perform basic commissioning and system diagnostics.
  • Calibrate systems requiring basic electronic test equipment and complete administrative tasks, including time sheets and expense reports.
  • Document changes and provide information for as-built documentation, while maintaining open communication with customers and management.
  • Follow all safety standards and attend required safety training, prioritizing employee and subcontractor safety.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of BMS experience and basic computer skills.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude, attention to detail, and good communication and listening skills.
  • Knowledge of mechanical HVAC systems and ability to use hand and power tools.
