About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Controls Engineer to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a Senior Controls Technician, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining complex HVAC control systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement HVAC control systems, including programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
  • Respond to service calls and warranty issues using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools.
  • Provide technical support and repair services to customers, including system repair and update recommendations.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their system needs and provide solutions.
  • Document changes and provide information for as-built documentation.
  • Participate in company-sponsored training to maintain the highest level of knowledge and capability.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, sequence, and applications.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude in mechanical and electro-mechanical fields.
  • Able to use hand, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
  • Solid knowledge base in the use of personal computers.
  • Attention to detail and good communication and listening skills.
