Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Senior Controls Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking HVAC control system programming, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and maintenance related to mechanical, electrical, and low voltage controls components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load Johnson Controls software on field and network-level controllers
  • Conduct commissioning and system diagnostics for all levels of controllers and end devices, completing necessary documentation
  • Maintain communication with management and customers to update on job progress and address any issues
  • Calibrate systems using electronic test equipment and ensure accurate documentation
  • Handle administrative tasks including time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills
  • Engage with customers to grasp their system requirements effectively
  • Adhere to safety standards and undergo necessary safety training

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, sequences, and applications
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in mechanical and electro-mechanical fields
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
  • Strong understanding of personal computer operation
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and listening abilities
  • Some locations may require specific licensing for low voltage device installation and termination
