Position Overview:

The Director of Sourcing Analytics and Compliance is a crucial member of CMA CGM's Procurement team, tasked with strategically collaborating with service providers to ensure adherence to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), company policies, and regulatory standards.

This position is vital for protecting the CMA CGM brand reputation while fostering operational excellence and cost-effectiveness in sourcing operations.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategically collaborate with service providers to ensure compliance with CSR, company policies, and regulatory standards, thereby minimizing reputational risks.
2. Support vendor engagement, performance reporting, and negotiation efforts through thorough cost analysis and measurement.
3. Assist the Vice President in contract management, data analysis, presentations, vendor evaluations, CSR initiatives, and strategic planning.

4. Work cross-functionally with departments such as Cost Control, Operations, Finance, Trade, and Sales to enhance cost efficiency and service quality.

5. Lead the team in developing reference materials, cost analysis frameworks, and vendor service evaluations.
6. Improve performance reporting tools to ensure visibility of progress and identify areas for enhancement.
7. Manage sourcing workflows to optimize team focus and productivity.
8. Enhance contract management processes for improved flow, visibility, and compliance.
9. Develop and refine inland tariff and network cost analysis to boost efficiency and profitability.
10. Drive the development and communication of Vendor Onboarding systems to ensure CSR and regulatory compliance.
11. Influence stakeholders to support CSR and compliance initiatives that align with business and customer needs.
12. Enhance analytical processes through digitization and the use of market intelligence tools.
13. Promote cost-saving initiatives and model network optimizations.
14. Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge:
A solid understanding of Terminal, Port, and Intermodal Operations and their associated costs. Familiarity with contract structures and vendor management practices. Experience in sourcing systems and the development of analytical models.

Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Excel (including formulas and pivot tables), Word, and PowerPoint. Strong negotiation and presentation abilities. Capacity to prioritize tasks and work independently.

Abilities:
Proven ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated success in staff management and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, sourcing analytics, or a related field is necessary.
Experience in vendor management, contract negotiations, and compliance is essential.
Proven leadership skills with the capability to manage and inspire a team.
