About the Job
\rThis position offers an exciting opportunity to join Ambulatory Neurological Services LLC as a highly skilled Medical Authorizations Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in streamlining billing processes and ensuring compliance with payer regulations.
\rResponsibilities:

- Insurance Verification: Collaborate with front-office staff to verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.\r
- Insurance Authorization: Apply for Authorizations when needed.\r
Key Accountabilities:

- Billing and Claims Submission: Accurately process and submit medical claims through AdvancedMD, ensuring timely reimbursement.\r
- Accounts Receivable Management: Monitor, review, and follow up on unpaid claims to maximize reimbursements and reduce aging accounts.\r
- Denial Management: Investigate and resolve claim denials or rejections promptly, identifying trends to minimize future occurrences.\r
- Compliance and Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of billing activities and ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and payer requirements.\r
- Reporting: Generate and analyze billing reports using AdvancedMD to provide insights on collections, rejections, and trends.\r
Requirements:

- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting.\r
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of AdvancedMD software is preferred.\r
- Education: Certification in medical billing and coding preferred (e.g., CPC, CMC) or equivalent experience is desirable.\r
