Job Overview:

Ambulatory Neurological Services LLC is seeking a highly skilled Medical Authorizations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying patient insurance eligibility and benefits, applying for authorizations when needed, and accurately processing and submitting medical claims through AdvancedMD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits through collaboration with front-office staff.
  • Apply for authorizations when necessary.
  • Accurately process and submit medical claims through AdvancedMD.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong working knowledge of AdvancedMD software preferred.
  • Certification in medical billing and coding (e.g., CPC, CMC) or equivalent experience desirable.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
