We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spacecraft Assembly Technician to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our GS2PA business unit, you will play a critical role in the development of our sustainable infrastructure for transporting crew and cargo from Earth to the Lunar Surface.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a diverse team of problem solvers who are committed to a culture of safety and collaboration. You will have the chance to work on a large-scale verification of avionics on autonomous spaceflight systems and support the integration of vehicle hardware, ground support equipment, and operator consoles.
Responsibilities- Assemble, disassemble, and modify systems to correct failures or implement changes.
- Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
- Conduct formal verification and validation testing and document test results.
- Support the integration of vehicle hardware, ground support equipment, operator consoles, and analysis tooling.
- Debug and troubleshoot hardware and software issues in a manufacturing environment.
- Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components.
- Support integration and test activities, including wiring, hardware installation, and test bench setup.
- Participate in design and system reviews to provide feedback on integration and testability.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate hardware simulation and fault injection solutions with real-time vehicle simulations.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Leading and supervising others working in teams/shifts.
- Experience integrating and testing vehicle systems.
- Experience developing special electronic test equipment and troubleshooting equipment.
- Proficient in the use of standard electronic lab tests and troubleshooting equipment.
- Ability to thrive as a member of a small, tightly integrated team.
- Ability to climb ladders/stairs and work in small, restricted areas.
- Perform repetitive work, including lifting of heavy items, >50lbs.
- Work off-shift, extended hours overtime, and weekends if/when necessary.
- Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
- Experience supervising a team of spacecraft technicians.
- 7+ years of proven experience.
- Experience with the development and execution of a large-scale verification of avionics on autonomous spaceflight systems.
- Experience supporting testbeds for spaceflight systems.

Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays.
