Project Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-focused Project Engineer to join our Mechanical Systems team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting engineering-related efforts to meet shop and supplier delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support engineering efforts to meet shop and supplier delivery requirements.
- Work closely with operations, quality, procurement, and engineering discipline SMEs to drive root cause investigations, develop associated corrective actions, and implement product and process improvements.
- Work with multidiscipline teams to address various production improvement opportunities.
- Track group metrics and look for improvements.
- Coordinate evaluation and response to supplier requests for information.
About the Team
Our team is dedicated to transforming the future of flight and is seeking a goal-oriented and detail-focused Project Engineer to join our Mechanical Systems, Externals and Nacelles (MSEN), Engineering Support to Operations (ESTO) Team based in East Hartford, CT.

Requirements
- Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the Aerospace Industry within the design and/or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, Teamcenter, Unigraphics, Ansys, and classical methods of analysis.
