About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Physician Assistant to join our team at SpecialtyCare. As a Surgical Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting surgeons during complex surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist surgeons during surgical procedures, performing complex techniques as needed and directed by the physician.
  • Document all procedures and/or services to patients on face sheets and process face sheets in accordance with established procedures.
  • Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure seamless communication and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians and other healthcare professionals to drive business growth.
Requirements:
  • Must hold certification/licensure as a CSA, LSA, RNFA, PA-C or NP.
  • Previous surgical experience as a First Assistant.
  • Ability to build and maintain business relationships and retain and grow the business.
  • Must possess strong physician/surgeon relationship skills and team mentality.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to work at multiple locations as needed.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with team members, hospital staff and physicians.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as scheduled, including weekends and holidays, and to be on-call as scheduled.
Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $200,000 per year
