Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Childbirth Educator to join our team at Recruitics JB. As a key member of our healthcare education team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs to meet the needs of our staff, patients, and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess educational needs across units and departments, utilizing available data and accreditation recommendations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to promote positive communication techniques for problem resolution and goal achievement.
  • Function as a liaison with departments to ensure appropriate distribution of educational services for staff growth, preparedness, and competency.
  • Promote professional practice by supporting and mentoring the transition-to-practice of inter-professional clinicians at every level.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Master's degree preferred, in a health or education field.
  • Four years of clinical experience, with education experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • RN - Registered Nurse - Texas State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure within 60 days.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA).
  • Magnet - ANCC Recognized Certification in an applicable specialty area within 6 months.
