Responsibilities:
  • Support teachers in providing English language acquisition educational support to students
  • Communicate and coordinate with students and parents about routine issues in their native language
  • Assist with computer-led instruction, student assessment, and lesson planning
Requirements:
  • Must be able to communicate in a second language, both orally and in writing
  • Effective April 10th, 2017, ELA General Assignment Paras for Spanish are required to complete a proficiency exam hosted by Berlitz
  • Must be able to achieve a passing score on the DPS Spanish Language Proficiency (SLP) test
