RELA Language Professionals is seeking a skilled Colorado Healthcare Interpreter to facilitate clear and accurate communication between healthcare providers and patients. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring equal access to quality medical care and optimal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret medical advice and information accurately.
- Conduct pre-session briefings to set clear expectations.
- Assure patient comprehension and maintain professionalism.
- Navigate cultural nuances to improve mutual understanding.
- Exhibit a positive attitude and maintain a customer service orientation.
Requirements:
- Certificate from a nationally accredited 40-hour medical interpreter training program.
- Demonstrable fluency in English and target language(s), especially seeking those with expertise in medical terminology.
- Ability to travel to various healthcare facilities within the designated area.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle stressful situations effectively.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
