WORK ENVIRONMENT: The role necessitates the ability to concentrate on essential tasks in a prioritized manner. Interaction with clients and colleagues may occur in challenging situations requiring patience. Punctuality, dependability, attention to detail, and accountability for work outcomes are essential. The position involves prolonged standing, some sitting, and occasional travel to other departments. Accurate cash handling is required, along with communication via telephone, electronic mail, and face-to-face interactions. Completion of assigned online training courses with satisfactory results is mandatory. The work setting is professional, requiring appropriate demeanor and attire, and is conducted indoors in a controlled environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum one year of experience as a Teller or in a similar cash handling role.
  • Required Skills:
  • Proficient in Business English.
  • Effective oral communication skills.
  • Experience with extensive face-to-face client interactions.
  • Ability to deliver exceptional client service professionally.
  • Capability to interpret bank policies and procedures for clients.
  • Ability to manage stress effectively.
  • Skill in handling client interactions with tact and diplomacy.
  • Competence in managing significant cash amounts and making change.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including interest and percentage calculations.
  • Ability to operate online teller terminals.
  • Proficiency with ten-key calculators or adding machines.
  • Typing speed of up to 30 words per minute.
  • Familiarity with office equipment, including photocopiers.
  • Ability to collaborate with others.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift coin bags weighing up to 30 lbs.
