Job Summary

The Stark State College computer services team is seeking a skilled and experienced Systems Administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of the college's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the stability, security, and efficient operation of all IT systems that support core organizational functions.
  • Provide server application support to other IT staff members and end users as necessary.
  • Implement and oversee server and storage policies to ensure the integrity and availability of the College computing resources.
  • Maintain the College server environment in support of both student and business computing needs.
  • Participate in rotating on-call schedule to provide 24x7x365 Tier 3 support for critical business systems.

Requirements
  • Associate degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Valid Ohio Driver's License with an insurable driving record.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with Microsoft Entra/Azure AD.
  • Minimum of 3 years of extensive information technology experience in system and server administration.
