Job Overview

We are seeking a PhD Graduate Research Position candidate to join our team at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. As a researcher in our group, your primary responsibility will be contributing to and leading AI projects for complex systems.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing machine learning algorithms for complex systems
  • Collecting and preparing data for research projects
  • Evaluating and refining machine learning models
  • Programming and developing software for research projects

Requirements

  • PhD degree in a relevant field such as AI, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering
  • Prior experience with machine learning algorithms, data science, and software development
  • Proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with AI/ML libraries such as PyTorch and Hugging Face
