About the Job

We are seeking highly talented technical graduates to join our team in the Weapon Control Concepts Development Group at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. This role is ideal for individuals with a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or similar fields.


Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and development activities related to U.S. Missile Defense systems.
  • Assist in the development, testing, and analysis of new concepts related to weapon control systems.
  • Implement algorithms and design modeling and simulation components of systems.
  • Develop AI/ML-based concepts and technical solutions to solve challenging problems.

Qualifications
  • A Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or similar degrees.
  • Skilled in programming skills in MATLAB, C++, C, Python, etc.
  • Ability to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by start date and can ultimately obtain Top Secret level clearance.
