Job Title: Bilingual Auto Liability Claims Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Auto Liability Claims Specialist to join our team in Richardson. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for investigating, determining coverage, and evaluating auto property damage claims with a focus on prompt, courteous, and economical resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and determine course of action on each file assigned, utilizing technical knowledge and experience to support final disposition of a loss.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and maintain accurate documentation of file activity on each claim, including coverage, liability, status, and damages.
  • Honor, decline, or negotiate first- and third-party liability claims based on coverage, policy investigation, and analysis of damages and liability.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to gather evidence and establish facts on assigned claims.
  • Organize and prioritize work activities to ensure prompt conclusion of claims and meet deadlines.
  • Prepare and present claim evaluations for settlement authority.
  • Notify the Underwriting Department of any adverse information uncovered during the investigation.
  • Familiarity with unfair claim practices in states where we operate.
  • Conduct business with vendors in a professional manner, maintaining a reasonable expense factor and upholding our reputation for quality service.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
Requirements:
  • Bilingual in Spanish is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of auto liability/PD claims insurance or other auto-related experience is a must.
  • Non-standard insurance experience is a plus.
  • Texas Licensed Adjuster - All Lines is required; Multi-State licensing is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, coworkers, management, and third-party vendors.
  • Experience in an automated claims processing environment is necessary.
  • Knowledge of fraud reduction practices and general working knowledge of policies, file procedures, state rules, and regulations.
  • Ability to pass written examinations required by state statutes to become a licensed Claims Adjuster.
