Key Responsibilities:
The Educator Preparation and Outreach Coordinator oversees the daily functions of the Office of Educator Preparation, collaborating closely with the Director and faculty leaders on outreach initiatives.

This role is instrumental in supporting the Director of Educator Preparation and Accreditation with:

  • Implementing national accreditation processes for the educator preparation unit.
  • Managing the educator preparation unit assessment system.
  • Facilitating state program approvals.
  • Compiling accountability reports.

The Coordinator is primarily responsible for:

  • Planning and executing academic and outreach program projects, including workshops, events, and conferences aimed at the P-12 education community.
  • Overseeing credit and non-credit initiatives, including financial projections and reporting.
  • Managing student and participant services, program evaluations, and marketing strategies.
  • Preparing payments and contact hour awards for educators involved in mentoring and supervision.
  • Administering the operating budget for the Office of Educator Preparation and related outreach activities.

Travel Requirements:
Some travel within the state may be necessary.
