Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver to join our team at Sevita. As a Caregiver, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them to live well and achieve their goals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with disabilities, including assistance with daily living activities, hygiene, and mobility.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to help participants achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
  • Assist participants with developmental goals, such as budgeting, dental hygiene, exercise, and nutrition.
  • Support participants with behavioral challenges and complex needs, including autism and related conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with the Sevita team to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for participants.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
  • Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required.
  • Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behaviors essential.
