Job Title: Residential Counselor

At MAB Community Services, we are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Counselor to join our team. As a Residential Counselor, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities in our cluster homes, promoting their personal growth and community membership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct support to participants in cluster homes, ensuring their physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
  • Develop and implement person-centered support plans, advocating for participants' choices and interests.
  • Collaborate with the Residential Coordinator and other team members to ensure a safe and clean home environment.
  • Assist with data collection, progress notes, and assessments, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Dispense medications, obtain vital signs, and administer treatments as per physicians' orders.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree and/or related experience preferred.
  • Valid MA driver's license and ability to drive program vehicles and wheelchair vans.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with participants, families, and community professionals.
  • Comfort with computers and ability to learn new reporting software.
