Key Responsibilities
- Manage service appointments for vehicle repairs, maintenance, and warranty work.
- Maintain accurate parts inventory and assist service advisors in sourcing necessary components.
- Engage with existing customers to encourage vehicle inspections and repairs under maintenance or warranty programs.
- Address customer concerns and work towards resolving any issues they may encounter.
- Facilitate efficient communication within the department and collaborate with other teams.
- Delegate tasks to service staff based on their skills and expertise.
- Assist technicians with vehicle repairs when necessary.
- Follow up with customers to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction with services rendered.
- Stay informed about advancements in the automotive service sector.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by dealership management.
Qualifications & Education
- High school diploma; post-secondary education in a technical field is preferred.
- A minimum of 6 years of sales and supervisory experience, with at least 3-4 years in the automotive industry (parts and/or service).
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
- Participation in management development training is advantageous.
