Job Title: Substation Team Lead

Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Substation Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our power delivery services team, you'll be responsible for leading a team of engineers and designers to deliver high-quality projects from basic to moderate complexity. Your technical expertise, leadership skills, and ability to mentor and train junior staff will be essential in driving our team's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers and designers to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff
  • Coordinate quality control reviews and ensure compliance with company standards
  • Work with local and regional operations to build capabilities and drive business growth
  • Represent HDR in business and community activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field
  • 5+ years of experience in physical and/or P&C substation design
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License or ability to obtain
  • Strong computer skills, including AutoCAD, Microstation, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office
