Role Overview

As the Principal Product Manager for AI and Automation, you will be pivotal in driving enhancements across the product lifecycle—covering aspects from development to deployment, operation, and retirement.

Your initiatives will significantly enhance the productivity and experience of all employees at Palo Alto Networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a strategic vision for enhancing the employee experience through AI and automation.
  • Analyze customer needs to create problem statements and feature requirements.
  • Oversee the complete product lifecycle, including directing, productizing, and prioritizing features.
  • Identify and apply the appropriate AI or Automation technologies to relevant use cases.
  • Focus on data and metrics, understanding that measurement drives improvement.
  • Engage regularly with executive leadership, effectively communicating value, progress, and areas needing support.
  • Collaborate across various organizational functions globally, from engineering to sales.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 10 years in product management within the cybersecurity or high-tech sector.
  • A proven ability to excel in fast-paced and ambiguous settings.
  • A strong foundation in AI/ML, particularly with large language models.
  • The capability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines efficiently.
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Influential skills through data-driven insights.
  • Experience presenting to partners and major clients.
  • A collaborative spirit with a proactive attitude.

Compensation

The compensation for this position will be based on qualifications, experience, and work location. The expected starting base salary ranges from $160,600 to $259,700 per year, which may include additional benefits such as restricted stock units and bonuses.
