Job Summary

The Carlyle House Assisted Living Community seeks a highly skilled and experienced Dietary Director to oversee the food service and dining operations for our residents. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our residents receive high-quality, nutritious meals that meet their dietary needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that are appealing, nutritious, and meet the dietary needs of our residents.
  • Staff Supervision and Training: Supervise and train a team of cooks, servers, and dietary aides to ensure that they are providing excellent service and adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, ensuring that all food is prepared and served in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Manage food and supply inventory to ensure that we have the necessary resources to provide high-quality meals.
  • Resident Feedback and Satisfaction: Monitor resident feedback and satisfaction with our food service and make adjustments as needed to ensure that we are meeting their needs and expectations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A degree in culinary arts, nutrition, or a related field, and at least 2 years of experience in food service management.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
