Print Design Assistant Job Description

A+O is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Print Design Assistant to support the Senior Print Designers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Contemporary market and be able to identify trends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing artwork for send outs and organizing CAD print outs.
  • Market research and mood boarding for future seasons.
  • Catalog seasonal organizational charts and keeping them up to date with calendar deadlines.
  • Communication between design team and overseas factories.
  • Maintaining email communication to ensure mills will be sending SO submits in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Minimum internship to 1 year of work experience.
  • Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or Textile Design.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite, Microsoft, and Excel.
  • Hand Illustration skills mandatory.
  • Proficient organizational skills.
  • General understanding of design and development process related to a variety of materials and fabrications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask while paying close attention to detail.
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule.
