Position Summary
The Inventory Control Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that PSI maintains precise inventory levels. This is achieved through accurate counting, location management, and transaction integrity for both vehicles and the warehouse from our expanding office.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and schedule monthly inventory counts for both vehicles and warehouse
- Ensure accountability among technicians and warehouse personnel for inventory precision
- Perform monthly inventory checks on equipment
- Oversee bi-annual comprehensive physical counts of warehouse and vehicles
- Assist in reconciling full physical counts
- Update inventory management software with accurate counts
- Maintain a reliable physical inventory count for both vehicles and warehouse
- Generate reports detailing cycle count and full count variances in both dollar and quantity
- Execute quarterly audits to ensure materials are consistently stored in their designated locations
- Facilitate inventory transfers in management software as required
- Manage the layout mapping for vehicle stocking and bins
- Coordinate the setup of new vehicle stock to ensure timely fleet additions
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages and communicate risks
- Identify and manage items with low or no usage
- Handle obsolete items in stock
- Manage out-of-box items
- Load and unload parts and equipment as necessary
- Operate a 16' box truck, utilizing a lift gate and pallet jack
- Organize parts and equipment securely for safe transport
- Verify orders to ensure accuracy in items, quantities, and conditions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and vehicles
- Receive, restock, and count inventory as needed
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to resolve inventory issues promptly
- Contribute to maintaining a tidy and orderly warehouse environment
- Communicate effectively and consistently with internal stakeholders
- Exhibit resourcefulness and proactivity in all tasks
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid and insurable driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Self-motivated and resourceful, capable of working independently to achieve goals
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Quick learner with a focus on problem-solving
- Accountable and self-driven leader
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly with data

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Prioritize safety and possess knowledge of safe working practices and OSHA regulations.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, use hands for handling controls, and communicate effectively.
- Ability to climb ladders, work in varying temperatures, and navigate small spaces.
- Regularly lift and/or move over 50 lbs.
- Work environment varies with seasons and job scope, requiring outdoor work.
- Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, with occasional on-call responsibilities.
The compensation for this role ranges from $23 to $25 per hour or more, based on relevant knowledge, skills, experience, and location, along with performance-based incentives. Additional incentive pay may be included in the compensation package, along with a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and other benefits, depending on the position.
