A prominent commercial general contractor is seeking a Senior Superintendent specializing in commercial construction and renovations. This role requires a strong, reliable personality to enhance the existing team dynamics. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee new construction and large-scale MEP projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Possess a minimum of 9 years of experience in commercial construction as a Superintendent or Lead Superintendent.
- Effectively monitor subcontractor progress, maintain project schedules, and coordinate with relevant agencies for compliance and reporting.
- Ensure quality control and safety standards are met, demonstrating self-motivation and independence.
- Manage cost control, job costing, quantity reporting, forecasting, and productivity metrics.
- Experience with projects ranging from $15 million to $50 million is advantageous, particularly those who can significantly impact project outcomes.
- Familiarity with scheduling and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures is essential.
- MEP experience is mandatory.
