Job Title: Commercial Concrete Construction Superintendent

At B&B Concrete, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Concrete Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and execution of concrete construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with operations managers to plan and schedule concrete construction activities.
  • Supervise and oversee daily concrete construction processes, ensuring that they are executed in accordance with company standards and safety protocols.
  • Monitor and control budget expenditures, ensuring that they align with project plans and schedules.
  • Organize and schedule field labor, ensuring that they are performing as required and that quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and effective communication.
  • Track and report project progress, identifying potential delays or challenges and providing solutions to overcome them.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial/industrial concrete construction, with a focus on tilt-up construction.
  • Previous experience as a Concrete Superintendent is a must.
  • Ability to effectively supervise construction employees and manage projects within budget and schedule.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple deadlines and tasks.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
