Full Time Days - Environmental Services Associate

Role Responsibilities:

We are looking for the ideal candidate to become part of our Environmental Services team. If you are a motivated individual eager for professional growth, this role is for you.

Responsibilities include general cleaning and floor maintenance tasks. You will assist the Supervisor with various functions such as planning, scheduling, staff oversight, inventory management, and special projects.

Collaborate with the Supervisor to uphold the cleanliness of the facilities.

Specific Duties:
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push weights up to 50 pounds, with a fundamental understanding of cleaning techniques including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning of rooms following established protocols to ensure all areas, fixtures, and surfaces are maintained daily or as assigned.
  • Adhere to infection control policies and procedures.
  • Foster positive working relationships and communicate effectively with other departments, residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Respond courteously to all requests.
  • Report any issues encountered during daily tasks to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Director.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English at a minimum 6th-grade level as required by state and federal regulations.
  • Capability to perform housekeeping functions and responsibilities.
  • Exhibit the Standards of Behavior expected by Trinity Health.
  • Follow both written and verbal instructions and demonstrate high school level computational skills.
  • Must be able to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds, with basic knowledge of cleaning practices.
Compensation: $19.74

Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be compensated within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The compensation range may vary based on location.
