We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Associate to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our Environmental Services team, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Environmental Cleaning and Sanitation: Perform thorough room cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Infection Control: Comply with infection control policies and procedures to prevent the spread of infections.
- Communication and Teamwork: Maintain good working relationships with other departments, residents, families, and fellow staff, and respond promptly to requests.
- Problem-Solving: Communicate any problems encountered while performing daily routine to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Education and Skills: High school diploma or equivalent, and basic knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds.
- Language Skills: Read, write, and speak English at a minimum 6th grade level.
We offer a competitive salary range of $19.74 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
