Role Overview:

Lennar is in search of a Residential Construction Supervisor who will be accountable for managing and directing the construction of homes within a designated community, ensuring adherence to cost, schedule, and quality benchmarks. This individual will also oversee reports, assist in pre-construction activities, and supervise the work of trade partners, ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the job site and manage daily activities of trade partners in alignment with project schedules and scopes of work.
  • Utilize Build Pro for notifications to trade partners and for invoice approvals.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes.
  • Plan and coordinate all construction activities from initiation to completion, including pre-construction meetings, pre-drywall inspections, and final walkthroughs.
  • Facilitate pre-construction meetings and final presentations with clients.
  • Supervise the construction process and inspections using established forms, plans, and procedures.
  • Negotiate solutions to issues raised by inspectors and trade partners.
  • Provide feedback to division leaders regarding trade partners' performance, focusing on timeliness and detail orientation.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of change orders, purchase orders, and inspections within the community.
  • Approve trade partner invoices upon satisfactory job completion and verify all deliveries for accuracy and condition.
  • Conduct bi-daily walkthroughs of assigned homes.
  • Ensure job site cleanliness and compliance with safety regulations as mandated by state and federal guidelines.
  • Maintain safety logs and conduct regular safety meetings on-site.
  • Perform SWPPP inspections as required by local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Attend construction meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
  • Address safety, quality, and legal standards to ensure high-quality homes are delivered within budget.
  • Manage multiple homes concurrently.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in residential construction management required.
  • Relevant management experience is desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain current daily schedules and ensure timely paperwork flow.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle a variety of tasks efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word and Excel).
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record is required.
  • Valid Auto Insurance coverage is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of construction practices and building codes is essential.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
