Job Title: Radiology Technologist

CrossMed Allied is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist for a travel position in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Job Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Radiology Technologist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for operating various imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray units.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring the proper disposal of waste.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including radiologists, nurses, and other technologists, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, reporting any concerns or issues to the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited program in radiologic technology or a related field.
  • Current certification in radiologic technology, such as ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
  • 1-2 years of experience in radiology, preferably in a travel or per diem setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse personnel.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment, as well as stand for long periods.
