Job Title: Radiology Tech

Roosevelt General Hospital is seeking a skilled Radiology Tech to join our team.

Job Summary

The Radiology Tech will be responsible for performing all aspects of patient care in a radiology environment, ensuring patient safety and compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radiology technology services and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote patient safety and quality care by following established protocols and procedures.
  • Operate radiology equipment, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and inventory management.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a degree or certificate in Radiology.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment

The Radiology Tech will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with exposure to blood and body fluids, communicable diseases, chemicals, radiation, and repetitive motions. The position requires pushing and pulling heavy objects, full range of body motion, and ability to lift and carry patients.
