Work Schedule:

Day, Evening, and Overnight Shifts Available

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role encompasses a variety of essential functions, duties, and expectations:

Customer Engagement:

Deliver exceptional customer service with a friendly and attentive approach.

  • Welcome customers upon entry and express gratitude as they exit.
  • Assist customers with inquiries and provide recommendations.
  • Accurately process transactions using the cash register, managing various payment methods.
  • Operate multiple systems including fuel consoles and lottery machines.
  • Adhere to punctuality and maintain professional appearance standards.
Store Maintenance:

Ensure the cleanliness and operational standards of the store and its equipment.

  • Conduct regular cleaning and upkeep of the store's interior and exterior.
  • Inspect facilities for safety and cleanliness, reporting any issues to management.
  • Notify management of maintenance needs or equipment failures.
Inventory Management:

Assist in the ordering and stocking of merchandise.

  • Maintain adequate inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation.
  • Display promotional and pricing materials effectively throughout the store.
Financial Accountability:

Monitor cash handling and inventory accuracy.

  • Support inventory audits and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Report any discrepancies in sales or inventory to management.
Security and Compliance:

Report incidents and maintain a safe environment for customers and staff.

  • Document any safety concerns or unethical behavior.
Administrative Duties:

Keep accurate records of shifts and assist with inventory checks.

  • Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Maintain regular attendance and fulfill other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous retail experience is a plus.
  • Ability to operate cash registers and other equipment effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and basic math proficiency.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks as outlined in the job requirements.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Employees must be able to meet the physical requirements of the role, including:

  • Working in varying temperature conditions.
  • Lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds.
  • Standing and walking for extended periods.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Most tasks will be performed indoors, with occasional outdoor responsibilities.
