Availability - Shift/Days

Day Shift - Evenings - Overnight Shift

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional service to customers in a friendly and attentive manner.

  • Welcome customers upon entry and express gratitude as they exit.
  • Assist customers with inquiries and provide product recommendations.
  • Accurately process transactions using the cash register, handling various payment methods.
  • Operate additional equipment such as fuel consoles and lottery machines.
  • Adhere to scheduled work hours and maintain professional appearance.

Store Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the store in accordance with company standards.

  • Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of the store and its equipment.
  • Inspect facilities for safety and cleanliness, reporting any issues to management.

Inventory Management: Assist in managing stock levels and verifying deliveries.

  • Maintain organized inventory and ensure proper stock rotation.
  • Set up promotional signage and pricing displays as needed.

Financial Accountability: Maintain accurate records of cash, sales, and inventory.

  • Report any discrepancies in sales or inventory to management.

Security Awareness: Report any incidents or unsafe conditions to management.

  • Notify management of any suspicious activities or safety concerns.

Administrative Duties: Keep accurate records of shift activities and timekeeping.

  • Participate in inventory counts and attend necessary meetings.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in retail or customer service is advantageous.
  • Ability to operate cash registers and related equipment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.
  • Occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Primarily indoor work with some outdoor responsibilities.
  • Exposure to noise and varying temperatures.
